Featured repertory

Les Sylphides

First staged by BBT in its inaugural repertory concert in 1993, Les Sylphides is a non-narrative ballet set to the music of Frédéric Chopin. Its original choreography was created by Ballets Russes’ Michel Fokine, who crafted what is now considered the first plotless ballet—dance for dance’s sake, pure and beautiful. It features a lone male dancer surrounded by woodland nymphs, or Sylphs, dancing in the moonlight. It’s a gorgeous piece to witness onstage with dancers wearing long Romantic tutus and moving to a melodious piano score.

Just Swingin'

This rip-roaring ballet created by Co-Artistic Director Dan Guin made its BBT premiere in 1995 and starred BBT4PD Program Director Cindy Surman. Just Swingin’ is a tribute to our WWII-era military, featuring Big Band classics sure to get your feet tapping!

Voyage Classique

First staged by Boca Ballet Theatre in 2012, Voyage Classique is an original ballet created by Dan Guin, set to excerpts from Léo Delibes’ score for Sylvia. It is a testament to the elegance and poise of classical ballet—a piece you won’t want to miss!
