General audition information for professionals

Boca Ballet Theatre presents four major productions each season. Our season consists of The Nutcracker, an additional full-length story ballet, and two repertory concerts. As a civic company, we hire professional dancers only for the principal and soloist roles on a per-production basis. BBT offers an average of 20 one-to-three week contracts each season.

We appreciate your interest in Boca Ballet Theatre. However, due to the large number requests, if you are interested in auditioning for one or more of our productions, please email your resume, headshot, dance photos, and video link to mail@bocaballet.org. To audition in person, please call 561-995-0709 to schedule an appointment.

Auditions for The Nutcracker

Auditions for Boca Ballet Theatre’s production of The Nutcracker will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at BBT’s studios at 7630 NW 6th Avenue, Boca Raton, FL 33487. Please wear your Boca Ballet Theatre uniform. Audition fee: $25 (cash or check).

Ballet Levels 6–8
Registration: 2:00 PM
Audition: 2:30–4:00 PM

Ballet Levels 1–5

Ages 7–9 (by September 1, 2026)
Registration: 3:30 PM
Audition: 4:00–5:00 PM
