BBT's Nutcracker rings in the holidays over Thanksgiving weekend!
Over Thanksgiving weekend, Boca Ballet Theatre rang in the holiday season with magic, music, and dancing in our production of The Nutcracker! We wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to The Edith and Martin Stein Family Foundation for its generous support of this production, which brought holiday cheer to all in attendance.
This year’s Nutcracker performances featured American Ballet Theatre’s Zimmi Coker and Carlos Gonzalez, who starred as the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier. They captivated our dancers and audience members alike with their exceptional talent. We also welcomed guest artists Samuel Huberty, Nathaniel Otto, Alexander Gross, Daniel Guzmán, and Max Barker, whose virtuosic dancing dazzled all! We’re thrilled to share that ABT Studio Company members Daniel and Max were recently promoted to American Ballet Theatre’s main company—an incredible accomplishment for both! We are so grateful to these dancers for helping make our production spectacular!
We also want to take a moment to thank the many people who brought The Nutcracker to life this year! From the props and costume mistresses to the incredible stage crew and volunteers at the front and back of house, this year’s production would not have made it to the stage without you! Thank you also to Tricia Maggio and Bagels with Deli for supplying some delectable treats for our Gingerbread Ball guests and our hardworking dancers backstage.
Finally, we extend a heartfelt thank you to The Nutcracker’s presenting sponsor, the Edith & Martin Stein Family Foundation, and to the many patrons who attended this weekend’s performances! Your warm support means so much to our dancers who danced their hearts out onstage. We can’t wait to perform again for you soon!
